Definition This key performance indicator measures the ratio of the number of business entity employees to the number of full-time equivalents (FTEs) responsible for the process of developing and training employees within the Human Resources function.
Calculation Total number of business entity employees divided by the FTEs responsible for the process of developing and training employees.

Method of Estimation The number of FTEs can be obtained by either dividing the total hours spent on the process by the standard number of hours worked by one full-time employee or by using the headcount of employees designated to perform the process.
